S & S Consolidated has gone a perfect 5-0 against Blue Ridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rams are taking a road trip to challenge the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. S & S Consolidated will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

S & S Consolidated can't be too worried about heading out to take on Blue Ridge: they just beat Bells at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Rams blew past the Panthers 12-0 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won 11 matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Blue Ridge was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They skirted past Howe 7-5. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

The team relied heavily on Kyara Davis, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Isabelle Tallant also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

S & S Consolidated's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-0. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Blue Ridge, their record is now 4-6.

S & S Consolidated took their victory against Blue Ridge in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 16-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
