Soccer Game Preview: Wellington vs. Greeley Central

The Wellington Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Greeley Central Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wellington comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Friday, Wellington didn't have quite enough to beat KIPP Denver Collegiate and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Wellington have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Anna Grace Schultz, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Greeley Central has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 15. They fell just short of Roosevelt by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Greeley Central couldn't quite close it out.

Greeley Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-3. As for Wellington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
