Softball Recap: Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Extends Winning Streak to Three

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Seymour Indians 14-3. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 matches by six runs or more this season.

Addilynn Tracy made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs.

In other batting news, Mylee Tracy and Addison Rohn did most of the damage at the plate: Mylee went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple, while Rohn went 3-for-4 with five RBI and three doubles. Those three doubles gave Rohn a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lucie Dion, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia's record now sits at 25-7. As for Seymour, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-14-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia nor Seymour have any future games scheduled.
