Baseball Game Preview: Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs vs. Bolton Wildcats

The Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs will take on the Bolton Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bolton took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Raleigh-Egypt, who comes in off a win.

Raleigh-Egypt made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Melrose, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Raleigh-Egypt was the clear victors by a 20-7 margin over Melrose on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pharaohs.

Meanwhile, Bolton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of Overton.

Ethan Graham was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Even though they lost, Bolton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .636. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Overton only posted an OBP of .481.

Raleigh-Egypt now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bolton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Raleigh-Egypt was able to grind out a solid win over Bolton in their previous matchup back in April of 2023, winning 15-10. Does Raleigh-Egypt have another victory up their sleeve, or will Bolton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
