Volleyball Recap: Pomona Takes a Loss

Pomona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the West Covina Bulldogs.

While Pomona was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-15.

Pomona's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Covina, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pomona will venture away from home to square off against Bassett at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pomona is facing Bassett at the right time seeing as Bassett is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for West Covina, they will take on Los Altos at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
