Wethersfield had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Brimfield Indians by a score of 2-0. The Flying Geese were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Indians, so the Flying Geese were just returning the favor.

Wethersfield easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-19.

Brimfield's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Anja Nelson, who had 11 digs and one assist, and Jovi Chastain, who had five assists.

Wethersfield's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Brimfield, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wethersfield will take on Biggsville West Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will give the Flying Geese their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Brimfield, they will welcome Illinois Valley Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
