Baseball Recap: Glasgow Wins Going Away Against Union City

The Glasgow Scotties were able to grind out a solid victory over the Union City Golden Tornadoes on Sunday, taking the game 6-1. That five run margin sets a new team best for the Scotties this season.

Josiah Driver was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. Braylen Caldwell was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Glasgow's win bumped their record up to 3-7-1. As for Union City, they moved to 8-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Glasgow will head out on the road to face off against Nicholas County at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. As for Union City, they will be playing at home against Gleason at 5:00 p.m. on the 14th.
