Bethel-Tate is coming into the contest on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They came out on top against Clermont Northeastern by a score of 35-27 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 66-42 to Fayetteville-Perry. While losing is never fun, the Blue Jays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 425th, while the Rockets are ranked 70th).

Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-7. As for Bethel-Tate, their win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10.
