Softball Recap: Marshall Barristers vs. Lincoln Tigers
While Marshall's victory against Lincoln wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Barristers had just enough and edged out the Tigers 7-6 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Barristers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.
The team relied heavily on Cheyenne Velis, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. Those stolen bases marked the first that she snagged this season. Arianna Carrera was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
