Baseball Recap: Richlands Takes a Loss

Richlands lost against Lebanon back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Tornado lost 9-3 to the Pioneers.

Richlands saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Collin Adkins, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Richlands dropped their record down to 7-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lebanon, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richlands will face off against Graham at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The G-Men have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.17 runs per game on average), something the Blue Tornado will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Lebanon, they will challenge Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
