Americas had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.5 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 59-53 W against the El Dorado Aztecs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-40 back in January.

Leading Americas to victory were CHRISTIAN BACA and JOSH PICHARDO. BACA went 6-for-11 to rack up 14 points and eight steals, while PICHARDO went 6-for-9 en route to 18 points. The dominant performance gave BACA a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was BRADY DUGGAN, who posted six points.

Despite the loss, El Dorado saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jacob Villalobos went 7-for-12 on his way to 19 points and three steals. Adrian Rodriguez was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Americas pushed their record up to 21-10 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points over those games. As for El Dorado, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-15.

Americas does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for El Dorado, they are taking a road trip to take on Chapin at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th.
