Volleyball Game Preview: Mildred Eagles vs. Frankston Indians

Mildred is on a seven-game streak of home wins, while Frankston is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Eagles will welcome the Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Mildred had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Cayuga on Friday. The Eagles blew past the Wildcats 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mildred was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Frankston got the win against Cross Roads on Saturday by a conclusive 3-0.

Mildred's win bumped their record up to 27-9. As for Frankston, the victory got them back to even at 15-15.

Mildred came out on top in a nail-biter against Frankston in their previous meeting on October 3rd, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
