Baseball Recap: Webster Thomas Comes Up Short

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Webster Thomas nor Irondequoit made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Titans might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-1 to the Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Titans just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Webster Thomas saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Griffin, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Webster Thomas' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Irondequoit, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Webster Thomas by a score of 6-4 later that day.
