Softball Recap: Homer-Center Takes a Loss

Homer-Center lost against West Shamokin back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats fell 6-1 to the Wolves.

Kyhlee Beer was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Homer-Center's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for West Shamokin, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

While Homer-Center had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
