Basketball Recap: Georgetown Comes Up Short

Georgetown lost against Grant on January 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Georgetown Bulldogs took a hard 43-29 fall against the Grant Cougars. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Georgetown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Grant, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-18.

Georgetown will take on Doyline at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Georgetown is facing Doyline at the right time seeing as Doyline is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Grant, they are taking a road trip to square off against Franklin Parish at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
