Basketball Recap: Echo Skates Past Cove with Ease

Echo won the last time they faced Cove and things went their way on Friday too. The Echo Cougars claimed a resounding 64-34 victory over the Cove Leopards. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Echo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points over those games. As for Cove, they dropped their record down to 5-20 with the loss, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Echo will have a chance to go back-to-back against Cove: the pair will be back at it again later today.
