Baseball Recap: Tippecanoe Red Devils vs. Franklin Wildcats

There's no place like home for Tippecanoe, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They came out on top against the Franklin Wildcats by a score of 8-4 on Thursday. This was payback for Tippecanoe, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Peyton Schultz made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off only two hits. Schultz was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Brady Liskey was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
