Soccer Recap: Thursday's Loss Ends Mckenzie's Winning Streak

After flying high against Hickman County on Tuesday, McKenzie came back down to earth. The Rebels fell just short of the Westview Chargers by a score of 6-5 on Thursday. The match was a 3-3 toss-up at halftime, but McKenzie couldn't quite close it out.

They hit Westview with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Eli Vinson (2), Guillermo Hickman (2), and Joantony Hernandez.

McKenzie will be up against Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.88 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Westview, they will face off against Obion County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
