Concord is a perfect 5-0 against Elkhart Christian Academy since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Minutemen will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Concord came up short against Plymouth and fell 11-7.

Concord saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Kridler, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Another was Lukas Ulfig, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 50 runs the game before, Elkhart Christian Academy was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They lost 10-1 to Culver Community.

Elkhart Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Concord, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Concord has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Elkhart Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Everything went Concord's way against Elkhart Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Concord made off with a 19-6 win. Do the Minutemen have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
