Football Game Preview: Lebanon Yellowjackets vs. Ozark Tigers

The Lebanon Yellowjackets will challenge the Ozark Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lebanon has given up an average of 38.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Lebanon is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Nixa on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Yellowjackets were dealt a 49-14 defeat at the hands of the Eagles. The contest marked the Yellowjackets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Although Lebanon took the loss, they still got scores from Carson Hill and Elisha Simmonds.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ozark). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 71-0 win over Waynesville. The victory continues a trend for Ozark in their matchups with Waynesville: they've now won five in a row.

Ozark's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Lebanon, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

Lebanon took their victory against Ozark when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 42-21 score. Will the Yellowjackets repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
