Soccer Recap: Hueneme Comes Up Short

Hueneme lost against Fillmore back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hueneme Vikings fell 3-1 to the Fillmore Flashes. That's two games in a row now that the Vikings have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Hueneme and nudges their season record down to 3-8-2. As for Fillmore, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Channel Islands the next time they take the pitch. Fillmore will head out to face Channel Islands at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Hueneme will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th.
