Basketball Recap: Lancaster Comes Up Short

Lancaster lost against Northumberland back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lancaster Red Devils fell 74-64 to the Northumberland Indians.

Tyreek Lundy was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 30 points and ten boards for Northumberland. The matchup was Lundy's 14th in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of JD Barber, who posted 13 points.

Lancaster's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Northumberland, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lancaster will face off against Westmoreland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northumberland, they will challenge Essex at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
