Softball Recap: Mountain View Wins Going Away Against Gabrielino

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South El Monte, Mountain View was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Gabrielino Eagles. Considering the Vikings have won five matches by more than ten runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Gabrielino, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Mountain View will square off against El Monte at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Gabrielino, they will face off against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
