Basketball Recap: NCSSM: Durham Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, NCSSM: Durham finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They were outmatched by the Northeast Guilford Rams and fell 67-30. The game marked the Unicorns' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Several Unicorns players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was John Brown, who posted four points. The dominant performance also gave Brown a new career-high in boards (four). Chris Chen was another key player, putting up five points.

NCSSM: Durham moved to 7-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Northeast Guilford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

NCSSM: Durham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-66 defeat against Southern Alamance on the 20th. As for Northeast Guilford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 76-53 loss against Ben L. Smith on the 17th.
