Gilbert Classical Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They breezed past the Santa Cruz Valley Dust Devils to the tune of 63-30 on Wednesday. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 45-42 victory the Dust Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Gilbert Classical Academy will challenge Mountainside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Cruz Valley, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Tonopah Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
