Gordonsville faced White County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Tigers came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 13-6. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 19-0 win on April 15th.

White County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Sarah Kate Winfree, who gained 102 total yards and a touchdown, and Callieanna Griggs, who rushed for 96 yards on only nine carries.

The victory made it two in a row for Gordonsville and bumps their season record up to 5-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 12 points in those games. As for White County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.
