Volleyball Recap: Hayfield Takes a Loss

Hayfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Fillmore Central Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-13, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Josie Corson, who had 13 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven matches.

Hayfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Fillmore Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Hayfield nor Fillmore Central have any future games scheduled.
