Softball Recap: Spotswood Gets the Win

Spotswood let Woodbridge stack four runs on them in the first inning on Tuesday but luckily Spotswood prevailed anyway. The Chargers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Barrons, sneaking past 7-6. The victory continues a trend for the Chargers in their matchups with the Barrons: they've now won three in a row.

The team relied heavily on Gabby Hill, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Delanie DiStefano, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Spotswood's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Woodbridge, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

As of now, neither Spotswood nor the Barrons have any future games scheduled.
