Softball Recap: Nine Straight Road Wins for St. Agnes

While St. Agnes put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Minnehaha Academy. The Aggies put the hurt on the Red Hawks with a sharp 17-0 victory. The Aggies haven't had any issues with the Red Hawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

St. Agnes' victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 11.2 runs thus far. As for Minnehaha Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Agnes will head out to take on St. Croix Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Aggies their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Minnehaha Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Mounds Park Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
