Basketball Recap: Pima Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

Pima came tearing into Thursday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans by a score of 52-40.

Loss or not, Leading Edge Academy - GEC got some senior leadership from Sam Sutherland and Cory VanNiekerk. Sutherland went 5 of 9 on his way to 11 points and eight boards, while VanNiekerk posted ten points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Saadallah, who scored nine points.
