The scorekeeper got an easy start on Wednesday as neither Addison nor Arkport Central/Canaseraga made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Knights fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 4-3. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Sophia Hulslander and Ava Knowles stepped up to the plate in a big way. Hulslander went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Knowles went 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was Knowles' first of the season.

Addison's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Coming up, Addison will look to defend their home field on Friday against North Penn-Liberty at 5:00 p.m. As for Arkport Central/Canaseraga, they will venture away from home to face off against Avoca-Prattsburgh at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
