Football Game Preview: Bethlehem vs. Campbellsville

Campbellsville have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Bethlehem at 7:30 PM. Campbellsville don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

The crowd came for a game two weeks ago, and Campbellsville and Russell County sure delivered. It was a game that couldn't have wound up any closer, but Campbellsville snuck past Russell County for the 34-33 win. The win was familiar territory for Campbellsville, who now have five in a row.

Meanwhile, after flying high against Caverna, Bethlehem came back down to earth. It was close but no cigar for Bethlehem as they fell 41-44 to Eminence last Thursday. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

Everything came up roses for Campbellsville against Bethlehem the last time the two teams met as the team secured a 50-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Campbellsville since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
