Riverheads is 9-1 against Staunton since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Gladiators will head out on the road to take on the Storm at 5:30 p.m. Staunton took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Riverheads, who comes in off a win.

Riverheads will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Stonewall Jackson on Wednesday. The Gladiators blew past the Generals 11-1. Considering the Gladiators have won six contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Staunton might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Alleghany who claimed the real prize. The Storm took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Staunton saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Neil, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

With the victory, Riverheads broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-4. As for Staunton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Riverheads skirted past Staunton 4-3 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gladiators since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
