It was a good run, but Escondido Charter unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the San Marcos Knights by a score of 3-2.

Escondido Charter couldn't get the win, but they sure gave San Marcos a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-30, 25-15, 25-14, 18-25, 15-12.

Manoah Paschall paced Escondido Charter's offense, picking up 28 kills. Paschall got some help from Colin Goss and his 32 assists.

Escondido Charter's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for San Marcos, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-9.

Escondido Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against O'Farrell Charter on the 18th. As for San Marcos, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Escondido on the 16th.
