Memorial hasn't had much luck against Lowellville recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Memorial Red Devils will take on the Lowellville Rockets in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. Memorial is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63 points per game this season.

Memorial had a senior duo take command as Teyon Harris Jr. went 11 for 16 on his way to 25 points and eight rebounds and Josue Rodriguez posted 18 points in addition to seven steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harris Jr. has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Colon, who had nine points and five assists.

Memorial smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in six consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Lowellville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 51-46 to Springfield. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lowellville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Memorial, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
