South has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 25. They came up short against the Midview Middies on Saturday, falling 5-1. The contest was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for South it sure didn't stay that way.

Their goal came courtesy of Owen Colonna, who's now up to seven this season.

South's loss dropped their record down to 6-9-2. As for Midview, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 7-9-1.

South has already played their next match, a 0-0 win against West Geauga on the 15th. As for Midview, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Kenston on the 15th.
