Monroe is 9-1 against Parkwood since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Redhawks will welcome the Wolf Pack at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Monroe and five for Parkwood.

Monroe is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Sun Valley on September 12th. The Redhawks lost 28-7 to the Spartans.

Despite the defeat, Monroe got top-tier performance from Jamir Jackson, who rushed for 110 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Parkwood was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 25-21 to Forest Hills.

Monroe will need to focus on slowing down Smith Barlowe, one of several Parkwood players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 164 yards and three TDs. Barlowe also put up a rushing yard, which was his first of the season. 86 of Barlowe's passing yards were hauled in by Anwar Bit, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Parkwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Monroe against Parkwood when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 55-6 victory. Will the Redhawks repeat their success, or do the Wolf Pack have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
