Softball Recap: Bentworth Has No Trouble Against Washington

Bentworth never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Washington on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Prexies. Considering the Bearcats have won seven matchups by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Sofia Gaussa, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Zoie McDonald was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three runs and three RBI.

The victory got Bentworth back to even at 7-7. As for Washington, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Bentworth wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-1 loss against Frazier on the 30th. Washington has also already played their next game (against Monessen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
