Volleyball Recap: Windsor Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

If Petaluma wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Windsor, they should've done a better job of containing Ava Rush. The Jaguars came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from Rush, who had 24 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

While Windsor might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Petaluma scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 16-25, 25-21, 25-18.

Windsor has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Petaluma, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Windsor will head out to square off against Marin Academy at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Petaluma, they will venture away from home to take on Rancho Cotate at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
