Basketball Recap: Central Jersey College Prep Drops Highest Score of Season Against Paterson Arts & Science

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Central Jersey College Prep). They strolled past Paterson Arts & Science with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 73-56. Winning may never get old, but Central Jersey College Prep sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central Jersey College Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Carter Staton, who went 9 of 15 en route to 19 points along with eight assists and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Staton a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucas Chouloute, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 20 points and seven assists.

Central Jersey College Prep's win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Central Jersey College Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 71-68 victory against Keansburg on the 2nd. Paterson Arts & Science does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
