Basketball Recap: Cambridge Comes Up Short

Cambridge lost against First Baptist back in December of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cambridge Lions were beaten by the First Baptist Saints 91-16. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Cambridge and nudges their season record down to 4-5. As for First Baptist, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Cambridge will square off against Garland Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for First Baptist, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Texas Alliance of Christian Athletes at 7:30 p.m.
