Football Recap: Garrett Railroaders vs. West Noble Chargers
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Garrett and West Noble meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Friday. The Railroaders fell 17-6 to the Chargers. The Railroaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.
Wyatt Hefty threw for 40 yards on five of 13 attempts. Josh Hogle was his top target, picking up 41 receiving yards. On the ground, Aiden Reed rushed for 80 yards and one touchdown.
Dustin Richardson was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 32 yards and a pair of scores. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making two total tackles.
Garrett's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for West Noble, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.
