Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mountain's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Rocky Mountain proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a set and slipped past the Regis Jesuit Raiders 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Lobos sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Sydney Daniels paced Rocky Mountain's offense, picking up 12 kills. Daniels got some help from Abby Duran and her 35 assists. Maryn Whitcomb controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Regis Jesuit lost, don't look at Emme Phillips. Despite the final result, she had 25 digs and four assists.

Rocky Mountain's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Regis Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Rocky Mountain has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Poudre on the 14th. As for Regis Jesuit, after both having extra time off, they and Castle View will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
