Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Luverne). They took down the Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons 64-49 on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Luverne's win ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-17. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-6.

Luverne will face off against Windom at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, they will square off against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. Adrian/Ellsworth is facing Russell-Tyler-Ruthton at the right time seeing as Russell-Tyler-Ruthton is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
