Soccer Recap: Lugoff-Elgin Comes Up Short

Lugoff-Elgin's game on Tuesday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 8-6 to the Providence Panthers. Mia Reilly is probably feeling rather frustrated with she team right now: they lost despite she posting four goals.

Lugoff-Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Providence, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Lugoff-Elgin will face off against North Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Providence, they will host River Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Providence has given up an average of 4.8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
