St. Marys never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Tyler Knights 8-0. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Brylee McGrady, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ella Bullman, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple.

The win (which was St. Marys' fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Tyler, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

St. Marys will host Ontario at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Tyler, they will venture away from home to take on South Harrison at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Knights are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
