Basketball Recap: Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves vs. Kenosha Christian Life Eagles
The Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Kenosha Christian Life 74-32 at home. Living Word Lutheran has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 21 points or more this season.
Living Word Lutheran found their leader in underclassman Elaina Raymond, who scored 16 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Raymond has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Delaney Winkelmann, who scored 12 points along with five assists and three steals.
Living Word Lutheran's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-0. As for Kenosha Christian Life, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Living Word Lutheran will face off against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kenosha Christian Life, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
