The Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries will venture away from home to square off against the Hamilton Broncs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Bigfork 14, Hamilton 10.2) so any points scored will be well earned.

Bigfork is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Whitefish just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 22-21 to the Bulldogs.

Despite the loss, Bigfork got top-tier performance from Treker Hickey, who rushed for 121 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.

Bigfork didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Dane Carlsen led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.

Meanwhile, Hamilton waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They claimed a resounding 53-3 victory over the Blue Devils. Considering the Broncs have won six contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Hamilton found their leader in sophomore Cooper Weston, who threw for 268 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.4 yards per attempt. Weston also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making eight total tackles. Jackson Lubke was another key player, picking up 120 receiving yards and one score.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Hamilton, racking up 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Lubke, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Hamilton's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Bigfork, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 5-3.

Everything went Bigfork's way against Hamilton in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Bigfork made off with a 32-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings & Valkyries since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
