Basketball Game Preview: Pueblo Central Wildcats vs. Pueblo South Colts

The Pueblo Central Wildcats will venture away from home to challenge the Pueblo South Colts at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pueblo South took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Pueblo Central, who comes in off a win.

Pueblo Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Pueblo Centennial by a score of 54-41 on Wednesday.

Pueblo Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rosalia Martinez out in front who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alliana Martinez, who put up 11 points.

Meanwhile, Pueblo South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 62-2 loss at the hands of Pueblo County. The match marked the Colts' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Pueblo South's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Pueblo Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-11.

Pueblo Central strolled past Pueblo South when the teams last played two weeks ago by a score of 34-15. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pueblo Central since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
