Baseball Recap: International Comes Up Short

International was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Berean Christian Eagles, falling 20-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 10-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2017.

International's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Berean Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. International will challenge Stuart Hall at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stuart Hall knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully International likes a good challenge. As for Berean Christian, they will face off against St. Patrick-St. Vincent at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
